WHERE WERE YOU ON 9/11?
Do you remember watching the firefighters running into the buildings? We remember.
That was when our story began. On 9/11, 343 firefighters lost their lives in New York City. A promise to help was made that day to a 5-year-old girl. That promise inspired the creation of the Fallen Heroes Family Support Fund.
Through our event, the Firefighter Benefit Festival featuring the 343 Memorial Climb, we honor the memory of that tragedy while celebrating the extraordinary courage of Texas firefighters and their families.
Our local firefighters risk their lives every day to save our families, pets and possessions.
Join us while we take one day to say thanks
The Firefighter Benefit Festival was created to give you the chance to give back and have fun doing it. A donation of any size is all that is required.
There will be games, fun relays, good food and a chance for kids of all ages to pretend to be firefighters in fire suits made just their size. The highlight of the day will be the 343 Memorial Climb. Cheer on local firefighters, meet their families and take that moment to say thanks. (More details can be found on the
Events tab.)
If you can’t join us that day but would like to donate online, we accept Visa and
MasterCard. Just click on the Donate tab above.
Please join our FaceBook group (Fallen Heroes Family Support Fund) to get the latest information.
We will see you at Standridge Stadium on
September 19, 2009
Rain or Shine!
